What we use
Necessary storage supports language, sessions, security, and your privacy choice. It is not advertising. Analytics is a separate optional purpose and starts off.
- Necessary: authentication/security, language or product state, and recording analytics acceptance or rejection.
- Optional analytics: after consent, an ephemeral sessionStorage ID and strictly allowlisted product/performance events.
- Marketing/advertising: not enabled. Any future use requires a separate notice and choice.
Your choice
Accept and reject are equally available. Rejection does not reduce service. While consent is unknown or denied, Meridian creates no analytics events, queues no search text, and sends nothing to the analytics endpoint. Use the persistent Privacy settings control to withdraw or grant consent at any time.
Browser privacy signals
Meridian honors Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track as denial. An existing cookie does not override those browser signals. Meridian does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Duration and event scope
The choice cookie lasts up to 365 days and events target no more than 395 days. Paths drop query strings and fragments; events reject email, tokens, full upload metadata, and arbitrary component props.
